Christopher Truitt is an educator, composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist from Fresno,
California. He received his Bachelor’s of Music degree in Percussion Performance from California
State University, Northridge in 2015 and has been an active music educator ever since. He began
as a music educator in the Los Angeles area in 2013 teaching competitive indoor drumline. Since
then, he has taught Concert Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble and continues to
coach and compose in the indoor drumline activity. Chris is currently a drummer and
percussionist in the Los Angeles area, performing in musical theater productions and with local
bands across southern California. In his free time, Christopher enjoys hiking, watching movies,
cooking and spending time with his partner and 2 cats.
